 Pastor James P. Kennedy

Born in Chicago, Illinois in 1958. Graduated from Schaumburg High School in 1976.  Served in the US Army for 21½ years.  Worked as a Department of the Army Civilian from 1998 till 2020 and retired from work in June 2020 to focus on pastoral and missionary work.

Graduated from Liberty University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Religion, and Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Theological Studies on May 2017.

Was licensed to Minister in August 2015 and then ordained into Ministry in 2017 through Church of Philippi in Hanover, Maryland.  Served as English Pastor from 2015 to 2017 for Philadelphia Church in Hanover, Maryland and currently serve as Senior Pastor at Daegu Faith International Church.  Daegu Faith International Church is a Non-Denominational Church due to the inspired Christians that founded the church wanting it to be a Bible-driven church and not one driven by denominational practices and their laws.

Started missions in 2000 with my wife and I visiting Israel and supporting mission trips to Paraguay, South America and Daegu Faith International Church mission trips to the Philippines in Tabaco City and Tacloban City as well as Betany Orphanage in Daegu, South Korea and assisting Golden Ministry.  Since 2018 Daegu Faith International Church has also started and supported ministries in Thailand, Albania, South Africa, Cambodia, and Vietnam through prayers and financial support which continues to the present.
